Review of Gordon Family Tree (2013) by Michael P — 31 May 2014

I recently told a friend about a screenwriter I know who keeps a file of potential scenes. When he hits a rough spot in a new script he looks through the file to find a solution. The cocept for The Gordon Family Tree is great, but I fear the file of potential scenes would be empty by half way through.

In addition to a thin story, the score was poorly mixed, in many scenes it overpowered the dialogue. If this were re-edited and remixed into a 45-60 minute short, it could likely win more recognizable film awards.
