Review of Good Night, and Good Luck. (2005) by Chris D — 27 Jun 2010
A smart documentary-style film on the shameful history of McCarthism, told from the perspective of the CBS newsroom. The casting of Murrow was especially inspired here, with the jazz performances in between scenes serving as a wonderful respite from the, at times, repressive atmosphere created by McCarthy.
