Far from a game changing high school comedy but not bad by any means. I think the second they take the conventional road it starts the inevitable fall into cliche which at first didn't seem to be the case.
Guilty pleasure film that serves an age old genre well, seeing Weitz in the producing role made alot of sense considering the involvement in American Pie.
