Review of Goldfinger (1964) by Jim O — 08 Nov 2012
Arguably the best Bond film, or at least of the Connery years. Shirley Bassey's vocals on the theme song kick ass! The image of Jill Masterson covered in gold paint is at once sexy, beautiful, iconic, and scary! There is also the sexy and smart team of female pilots led by the sassily named Pussy Galore played by the one and only Honor Blackman.
This movie has everything: guts, guns, gadgets, girls, sex appeal, spies, sass and class. 5 stars easy.
