What led me to watching Goldfinger was my mother. Haven watched Golden eye, she said Goldfinger was the best. I said "no way", I am a firm believer now because I watched it in retrospect and hindsight relating it to those years of my mother.
I then understood why it's one of the best rated bond movies so far.
