The first half is pop without remorse and addictive, like if Zack Snyder was filming a mix between 300 and Prince of Persia, full of l33t ninjas and videogamey effects (from platformers to Mortal Kombat, "no holds barrel"); then drama comes, detracting from a flick which shouldn't allow seriousness to intrude.
