Review of Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999) by Tyler G — 13 Apr 2012
The special effects sell this movie BIG TIME. The human story is good with stock G-film characters in it (Everyman, KID, Damsel in Distress, Scientist, General and Politician, did I miss anyone?). The fact that the intial Millenium series movie featured an enemy kaiju (Orga) to battle was interesting.
The millitary attacks on Godzilla were extremely well done in this film as well (no bottle rockets this time!).
