Review of God Help the Girl (2014) by Hugo G — 04 Sep 2014

This was one of those movies I got excited recently because of Emily Browning and it's music. And both if then deliver in very good ways. Even though the story and the whole movie felt secondary to the music and performances, it was very fun and the music was great. The actors were also very good and envisioned the characters perfectly. However, if the story had been better developed and the movie done differently, this would've been an excellent musical that sometimes felt odd and awkward. But overall it was all about the music, and it was excellent.
