"ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?" I certainly was. Gladiator is one of those perfect Ridley Scott movies that sucks you into the action and drama. The performances are top notch, with Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix delivering powerhouse roles, it has great and memorable characters, and it has breathtaking action scenes that rival most action scenes we see today.
It puts you in the action, gives you a hero you root for, and is easily among the best epics of our modern age.
