Review of Girl on a Bicycle (2013) by Katy N — 06 Aug 2018
Louise Monot and Vincenzo Amato sparkle with genuine chemistry in their shared scenes, and I wish there more. Supporting cast members are good enough, but their scenes are long and often off the main point, if such a comedy has one.
The perky sountrack of violins, soaring at the wrong moments or plucked during light moments, a ubiquitous style now in TV and films, can be annoying--it never stops. But the scenery and double plot move the film along.
I will find and see more films starring Louise Monot or Vincenzo Amato.
