Review of Gilda (1946) by Erich S — 01 Jan 2009
Rita Hayworth is the very embodiment of the term 'screen siren', and seriously sizzles in this fantastic film noir. The chemistry between Hayworth and Glenn Ford is electric, and some of the dialogue that flies between them defines the phrase "cutting".
This is one of the most perfect films that I have seen and I would recommend it to everybody.
