Review of Gandhi (1982) by Aaron M — 26 Aug 2009
Re-watched this last night after seeing it in high school. Such an inspiring and thoughtful man and movie. It makes me sad that Pakistan and India are still at odds today but happy that Gandhi's message is still ringing loud and clear for new generations.
He was so shrewd and innovative in his firm but peaceful push for civil rights. Amazing. Still so very moving even though the film is dated and he's been gone for more than 1/2 a century.
