Frozen River is the best independent film of 2008. Great acting, great plot, and great character development. Melissa Leo nails her role as a struggling mother on her own trying everything she can to keep a roof over her family's heads.
This movie was everything you hope to see and more out of a low budget indy film. Remarkable!
