Review of Freakonomics (2010) by Man P — 21 Aug 2011
A common criticism of Freakonomics is that it doesn't live up to the book. Well to that I ask when has a movie ever fully lived up to the book? I admit I have not read it but this film definitely has me interested in the book now because of its thought-provoking nature.
Admittedly, some of the discoveries (such as the discover that a child's name will not decide how they act in the future) were not surprising but most of stories really blew my mind. Check it out.
Grade: B+.
