In America, where religious Fundamentalism runs rampant, what is the line between the literal and the hurtful? What are the traditions we need to accept, and what are the ones we need to question? This film is a profound challenge to the idea of homosexuality as an abomination and it exposes the real material pain and damages inflicted on family members.
Great documentary and I hope more people watch it and at least begin to question their own assumptions about God, love and the meaning of scripture.
