Review of Final Cut (1998) by Derek C — 10 Jun 2007
I really enjoyed this movie and it is one of my favorites despite those that criticize the film. Although the film doesn't focus on the larger issues that may come with the Zoe implant, it brings us to a more personal level on how it can affect a single man.
Although the ending probably will displease some of us, it is refreshing to see a different outcome for a change (than what people WANT to happen). Besides, it reinforces the dystopian theme that the film tries to portray with its cautious plot about the advancement of technology and the invasion of privacy.
