Trite in places but my god, Benning turns out an awesome performance in this. Jamie Bell is superb as the star struck lover of an ageing film star. Cameos by Frances Barber and Vanessa Redgrave are equally brilliant as is Julie Walters as a doting Northern mother.
Well worth a look.
