Meaningful in so so many levels. Sums up the 20/21st century society its problems and its fears in a realistic way. Freud once said "civilization is the source of unhappiness", and boy does that movie demonstrates that.

Also check out the mass effect, check out the anonymity cities provide. Check out a lonely person finding his personal Jesus. Check out how a project can get out of hand and lose its purpose and identity.

Not to mention the astonishing acting and directing.
