Besides having one of my favorite erotic scenes in a film (do I really need to explain?), this is a biopic that plays it fast n' loose with the life of Farinelli, the last great castrato. It's easy to overlook its faults when the actors, scenery, costumes and (most importantly) the music is melting on your tongue.
