The most scary thing about all the negative reviews is that they fulfill exactly what Bradbury and Bahrani are talking about: If we become too comfortable with fake news and too uncomfortable with people reminding Us that not reading, not exercising our minds (which like all exercises requires pushing beyond what is easy to perform) is effectively not wanting to think.

So the thoughtlessly offended who can't quiet explain why they didn't like this movie should ask themselves if this film is actually about them and they don't like what they subconsciously see.
