The movie was indeed creepy and had some effective jump scares. The story was halfway done and although they had a lot of building for the teacher character and his daughter, in the end the movie simply stopped with them and kind of felt like a redemption for him. Thus it felt kind of pointless to not have a resolution to the overall story not just those two characters. Therefore, it was scary and creepy in some good ways but there was a lot of hatred that it almost made you hate every character which made it impossible to root for any of them, and the story started on a high note but quickly went downhill until it just vanished.
