Review of Eva (1962) by Onur C — 24 Jan 2014
Moreau gives a memorable performance in this otherwise pretty hollow and overtly stylized film. Still, Losey's interesting even when he's trying too hard with heavy symbolism and quotes from the Bible.
The longer 120 min Scandinavian version didn't seem to add much to the film - a good 50 mins is told to be lost forever.
