Review of Elephant (1993) by Lee B — 20 Jul 2010
The pacing is quintessential in Elephant and it's utilised perfectly by Van Sant. The subject matter that Elephant features is obviously controversial and daring but as only Van Sant can, he uses it to his advantage to make a truely marvellous yet disturbing watch.
The acting is realistic in a film that it needs to be for it to work. I love this film. An instant favourite.
