I give every movie in the Mariachi Trilogy 5 stars because not only do I love the story, most of the acting, the amazing score and beautiful vision and cinematography... I have so much god damn respect for Robert Rodriguez.
He's just like me when it comes to thinking and making movies, he's a stand up guy and loves making movies his way and doing everything including Directing, producing, scoring, editing, cinematography and so forth.
This movie looks 50x more expensive than it is, $7,000 as is (with a little more tacked on for when Columbia did color correction and title changes for the re-release). It's amazing it looks like a couple million at least.
What a film.
