Review of Eichmann (2007) by Ivan B — 04 Jan 2013
This is an important historical drama that shows how Israel treated SS- Obersturmbannführer Adolf Eichmann decently during his interrogation...despite what he had done to more than 6 million Jews during the Holocaust of Drittes Reich. Thomas Kretschmann is able to show the calmness and demeanour of the manipulative Adolf Eichmann.
The only downside of this film is the fact that the film is almost entirely in English, save for some Hebrew dialogues. The focus should have been more on making the characters speak German and Hebrew for a more original feel, especially given the fact that most of the actors are of German or Israeli origin.
