Review of Eddie and the Cruisers (1983) by Paula K — 27 Dec 2008
Definitely best known for its soundalike OST by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, doing Springsteen almost too well. Eddie Wilson died in 1964, a great rock legend and now reporter Maggie Foley (Barkin) and his friend (Tom Berenger) try to find the missing last album, loosely based around Arthur Rimbaud's poetry.
Remembering too what Rimbaud said of himself. Who is fooling who in the fight to find out what happened to Eddie and the missing album Season in Hell.
