Review of Dragons Forever (1988) by Geoff J — 29 Oct 2009
This is one of my favourite Jackie Chan movies but not really because of him. Everything Jackie does is pretty standard but both Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao (the other two dragons) are terrific. In particular Biao who outshines his two more famous colleagues with a more zany character.
He steps out of the supporting shadows and should have become a huge star after this. One of the essential Jackie Chan flicks along with Police Story, Drunken Master and Rumble in the Bronx (among others).
