Review of Dr. Jekyll & Sister Hyde (1971) by Stuart K — 12 Jul 2010
Ralph Bates and Martine Beswick are excellent as the two part title character in this somewhat by the numbers Hammer Horror film. A few clever gags and solid performances help make this more watchable.
The connection to the Jack the Ripper murders is an obvious choice, but it kind of works. Not one of the best Hammer films I've seen, but OK.
