Review of Dorian Blues (2005) by Tiuri E — 02 Aug 2011
I think this was one of those movies recommended by IMDB when you watch a particular other movie. In this case I'm glad, because it's very good. It doesn't hurt that the lead, Michael McMillian, is cute, but he's a good and funny actor too.
Most of the actors did a great job and for once, the script of a gay-themed movie didn't suck (pardon the pun). It mixed coming out with coming of age and did a great job. The overall tone wasn't camp or corny, it had some funny moments and some dramatic ones.
I especially liked the relationship of the two brothers. Recommended!!!
