Review of Don't Go in the House (1979) by Joe H — 22 Jan 2010
Tarantino likes to show this one @ his film festivals. Ellison's first of two films he both wrote & directed in his career is basically Psycho with a touch of I Spit on Your Grave. They don't make horror movies like this anymore.
It seems everything nowadays is aimed towards teenagers. This is as dark as you get & the torture scenes are pretty eye popping, especially that one. Typical 80's B movie acting, but entertaining nonetheless.
Definitely worth a watch for horror fans or people that just like watching fucked up shit.
