This film was precussor of the film voyer. Indiscreet window was only filmed two years later. History politically correct because it shows the bad side of the war.

There was not interest of the studio in proving that Marilyn was good actress. She made the film because the producers simply wanted her in some production. Don't Bother to Knock was the only available on that moment. Marilyn was forced to do a test before beginning the filmings.
