5 stars. One of the most brilliant uses of flashback to tell a story coupled with one of the all time great (and searingly unconventional) mother daughter movies. Not to be missed, Dolores Claiborne was virtually ignored by the Academy Awards but should have received nominations for all the major categories.
Also one of the best Stephen King adaptations ever and director Taylor Hackford's personal favorite.
