Review of Disgrace (2008) by Eduardo B — 20 Dec 2010
Love John Malkovich's acting as well as Jessica Haines' and Eriq Ebouaney's. Beautiful scenery, deep social issues. Pride, arrogance and the abuse of power followed by sorrow and in the end perhaps a solution? What do you think was on John's mind when he sat in his ride thinking then parked it on a hill and took the long walk to his daughter's house on foot.
Remember, he had been working with dogs, "getting fleas" as he lay down wallowing in the floor. Did he come to a conclusion that he may not be able to turn back anyone's clock but he could certainly stop one or two because he had been making that decision for a while in the dog clinic.
"I'm just saying....".
