Review of Dig! (2004) by Colin N — 17 Sep 2007
One of the most depressing but enlightening films (documentary for that matter) out there, a real shoutout to music lovers. Some parts of this film really make you feel sorry for the band (which most of the people I know have never heard of them) "The Brian Jonestown Massacre" who are probably one of the more brilliant minds in the music industry of the last fifteen years.
Anton Newcombe a very unpredictable genius mind who (because of a rather unsettling childhood) is very prone to conversation. The film is narrated by Courtney Taylor of 'The Dandy Warhols', who is very sympathetic and tells his story of the tale.
It's unbelievable and makes you want to buy all of their albums (both bands).
