Review of Detention (2012) by River S — 04 Aug 2012

This movie is the "INCEPTION" of comedy horror. It was admittedely difficult to follow the story at some points but the random twist and turns as well as the modern, sharp humor kept me loving this movie.

I especially enjoyed putting together the details of this movie as if it was one huge puzzle, the same gratification you get from watching a mystery and solving the crime before the protagonist does. I enjoyed following the story of the protagonist as she dealt with teen life.

The conclusion of her story was great cause it showed that no matter how hard, messed up, f'd up teen life can be....it MIGHT get better in the end.
