Review of Descendants 2 (2017) by Steven S — 25 Sep 2017

So, Descendants 2? I'll say that it was faster paced for me than the first one and the kids annoying parents weren't in it so that in itself was a plus for me. Of course I watched this, as I did the first, with my daughters but I probably would have ended up watching it anyway. I typically end up watching most Disney movies sooner or later.

The acting was better than 1, directing was quite well done. Storyline though I like most of it save for Uma. I can't tell if it was the actress or the writing for her but she just bugged me. My girls on the hand, 8 and 11, they outright loved it. We had to DVR the first and second one, Disney played them back to back when Descendants 2 was premiered so they could rewatch them over and over.

My final score on this is mostly based on the writing, songs (they're catchy alright lol), and no sign of the parents.
