Review of Dementia 13 (1963) by Duncan R — 06 Mar 2009
It started off interesting enough, then veered off into typical slasher fare halfway through before starting to tie up the loose ends in reaaaaaly messy knots. The plot aside, though, it was an expertly crafted movie, especially considering the shoestring budget.
The cinematography was nice, and the cast gave performances worth more than what they were probably payed. I particularly liked Patrick Magee's turn as the Vincent Price-esque family doctor.
