Review of Deadly Trackers (1972) by Jonathan C — 01 Feb 2011
Terrific flick! Richard Harris is awesome as usual, those of you that aren't film aficionados may remember him as The Duke of Death (Duck says I) from Eastwood's UNFORGIVEN or as Dumbeldore in the first Harry Potter flick.
Just think of this as prequel to UNFORGIVEN. The Duck himself in the wild west, this is a chilling dark, moody, western in the same vein as Sam Peckinpah's THE WILD BUNCH. Having Neville Brand in your movie doesn't hurt either.
I award this film 2500 bonus points for that bit of casting.
