For the budget that they were working with, they really got a good revenge action movie. It's amazing how much Jim Vanbebber can do himself. All of those stunts were really him with no net or safety.

I heard him say that he didn't want to go along with the action movies of the day. Like Steven Seagal or Chuck Norris. He said I'm going to write a main character who does crack and kills people but is also the hero of the story in a way.
