Review of Dead Solid Perfect (1988) by Jeff V — 07 Aug 2009
Randy Quaid plays a professional golfer whose game and marriage are both mediocre. When his wife leaves him he finds a good luck charm in a young barmaid, and for a little while things go his way. Corinne Bohrer's hotel scene is permanently etched on my brain - one full star just for that.
This movie is a made-for-cable slice-of-life of a professional golfer who is far less eccentric than Roy in Tin Cup. A fun diversion.
