Review of Dead Meat (2004) by Japheth R — 29 Aug 2009
Because zombie films are incredibly cheap to make and because Shawn of the Dead was such a success a few years back, the independent film industry has decided to pump out these genre flicks like they were on a production line. Minor alterations to setting and plot allow the directors to say that they're different films, but this is yet another excuse for scenes of comedy dismemberment, decapitation and disembowling. If you've seen Undead or Shawn of the Dead, then just watch it again and pretend the cast are Irish.
Shite.
