Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Darren W — 10 Aug 2008

Everytime I watch this movie it makes me tingle - particularly the last 20 minutes or so when the twist begins to reveal itself. Stunning performances from all and particularly Considine - atmospheric, great setting and a superb story.

I love the scene with "the elephant" - made me roar laughing and the bit with Richard and Sonny on the street is electrifying - my all time favourite movie ever and one to watch over and over.

Now I really want to visit the location of the final scenes which is near Matlock in Derbyshire. Truly wonderful!!
