Review of Dead Man (1995) by David E — 26 Sep 2008
I always love western movies, but Dead Man is one of the best westerns, because it doesn't even look like a western. It's a dark story about la man, captured between life and death, trying to find himself on a bizzare journey with an unusual indian friend Nobody and tons of bizzare characters (Iggy Pop, Billy Bob Thorton, Alfred Molina, John Hurt, Robert Mitchum).
Really one of the most bizzare and unique westerns of all time, a true poetry captured on the movie screen.
