Review of Dark Days (2000) by Ren B — 26 Jun 2007
This is one hell of a documentary, about a guy that moves to NYC from the UK. He makes friends with some homeless people that tell him about a community that lives underground in the AMTRAK system. The guy that makes the film (I believe his name is Mark Singer)gets the homeless people that he is filming to help him shoot the film whether its holding the boom, lighting, and carrying the gack.
I really enjoy documentaries and have shot a few myself, but this is as far as I am concerned way above average. Very heart warming with a wicked soundtrack by DJ SHADOW... oh and watch the special features.
