Review of Dark Blue World (2001) by Paul D — 04 Jan 2009
Interesting story of two Czech pilots stationed in an idillic England during the war, although it uses a well worn plot of them both falling for the same women and the tension that follows. The director felt the need to insert some post-war scenes of one of the men, shot in total contrast to those in Britain, which although makes a statement about their treatment under the communists is somewhat out of context with the main part.
