Review of Danny Collins (2015) by Dee D — 11 Apr 2015
Really enjoyable movie, a little on the sappy side but also a good thought provoking film about time wasted, fame and relationships. I had a bit of a hard time at first seeing Al Pacino as a rock and roll star esp with that bad a voice.
.LOL and what's with the strange look he has a lot..like a dishevled devil..but he also in his younger days and even now..always reminded me a bit of a springsteen look (esp younger Al i.e. serpico, crusing.
.etc.) but back to the movie..he is a joy to watch no matter the movie and did well in this. Also love seeing Christopher Plummer an iconic actor. The guy paying his son seem to have a constant puzzled .
.look the little grandaughter was adorable..Jennifer Garner I find her mugging annoying.. outside of all these complaints..it was worth going to see and even buy on DVD.
