Review of Dallas 362 (2005) by David V — 16 Jun 2008
An impressive directorial/writing debut from Scott Caan. Shows that he's been taking good notes while working with the great directors he's worked with so far in his career. This film and Dog Problem show that he's only just begun and we have great things to look forward to from this multi-talented dude.
I'm just making an assumption here but it seems to me that he writes himself into his scripts so he can just play himself and be more concerned with focusing on his directing role and less worried about getting into another character. A smart move when you are wearing many hats on a set if you ask me... But who the hell would ask me?
