Review of Dahmer (2002) by Robert S — 03 Oct 2007
Sort of like a Gus Van Sant-light version of the Dahmer story, with a surprisingly interesting and rare focus not on the brutal acts themselves. It's also leaps and bounds above so many direct-to-video films of this type, even if there is still something lacking a bit in the overall cumulation of the film.
Renner is really convincing, and if you know Dahmer's story it picks up a lot of the interesting little bits.
