Review of Dahmer (2002) by Tierah H — 07 May 2012
Completely absorbing and disturbing, being attracted to the performance and to Jeremy Renner himself as an actor, and yet repulsed by the nature of the character and the story being told. This was a well done look at the personal life of the murderer, and what brought him to his decisions.
One part struck me, where Dahmer is talking to Rodney, supposedly talking about why Rodney hates himself, but really, he's talking about himself, Dahmer, the serial killer. In a way, it made me feel there was something that could've been done, if only Dahmer hadn't have been raised the way he was.
