Review of Cyrano de Bergerac (1950) by Jennifer H — 12 Oct 2005
I watched both of these films in class. I really enjoyed both of them. Roxanne was a bit more light-hearted which was nice after a stressful math class. I liked the more faithful adaptation a bit more though. That, and the fact that Christian didn't annoy me as much in Cyrano. In Roxanne, Chris made me want to hurt someone. Most annoying character ever! The actor certainly got the character down well, he was not a very intelligent guy.
I started writing my essay for the play. I'm comparing the two film adaptations to the play. It has to be 500-800 words. It shouldn't be hard at all. I finished the project I had to do for it last weekend and it isn't due until tomorrow. I'm happy with the way my project turned out.
Math test tomorrow, wish me luck everyone. :(.
